Grantham House is a 17th-century English country house situated in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This stunning Grade I listed building boasts an impressive façade with symmetrical proportions, featuring a central pedimented portico, sash windows, and a hipped roof. The interior showcases exquisite decorative plasterwork, intricate wood carvings, and grand state rooms, including a lavish ballroom and a beautifully painted staircase. The house is surrounded by 12 acres of picturesque parkland, offering scenic views and tranquil walks.
A beautiful house that is obviously lovingly cared for by the church who I believe takes responsibility for it. They have great events here and I'd encourage everyone to check out what they have on. Very reasonably priced tickets for very well planned activities in a beautiful setting. Love it.
Good acoustics! Nice, relaxing evening:)
Excellent evening of live music in the garden with friends and a picnic
Disappointed, not much of the building open to view. Garden ok.
Very good. Tea and cakes lovely. Gardens great.
Disappointed I'm afraid. Looked online to see if open - yes so I rang to check and left a message. Message not answered but we decided to go but open arrival from Nottingham a sign said closed! So a waisted visit. Phone obviously not manned? As a National Trust member a great disappointment.
