Miniature steam train railway rides with routes through green fields, plus a small station cafe.
Brilliantly run, fully functioning miniature steam railway. The volunteer team are absolutely lovely and so enthusiastic. There are two routes, each taking about twenty mins to complete, but be prepared to wait much longer than this, to board, on busy days. The cafe is very basic, so be prepared to take a picnic if you have any dietary requirements.
Wonderful experience! Such an awesome project, great experience for children as well as adults . It opens Sunday at 13:00 , was there at 15 past and in about 15 minutes we were on the train . Magnificent course with bridges , riversides, tunnels. It's a must visit place , the ticket prices are affordable like 6PS. Per adult .
Great experience for kids and adults!! Our nearly 3 years old daughter loved it, there was not too much queue when we arrived at 1.30pm, maybe around 15 minutes. The trains are super cute and go quite fast! We had the bonus of a beautiful hot weather, so overall it was a fantastic activity for a family day out with other friends!! Totally recommended if you are in the area (if you go for 1 ride you can expect the whole activity to last for half hour).
Just amazing. The kids and the adults enjoyed it so much. We went on both lines, which was not too long but enough to get a great experience. They have quite a number of trains running (battery and steam) so you won't have to wait too long. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You can see the passion they have for the railway. Just go.
We had a wonderful afternoon at Great Cockrow railway, our 2 1/2 year old absolutely loved it too. We all did, absolutely charming. Lovely people too. Thank you for the hard work that must go into maintaining this beautiful railway. Magical!
The kids loved this place, the trains are something awesome and a sight to behold. One star less as the carriages are small and if you are slightly larger then it rubs like hell on your legs. The trips are long and varied so well worth a visit.
