Do not visit this place unless you like being threatened by and old lady who doesn't have any manners, tells you the dog will bite next time and so on. Her husband did ask if he can help and he was polite, she was absolutely terrible. We had 2 kids with us, one asleep and one terrified when the dog wouldn't stop barking and she didn't even try to calm the dog. 1. There is no sign to say it's private or to stop you from entering. 2. There is nothing mentioned online that you need to book the place. 3. Lady who approached, I wish I would've replied back in a rude manner as well, I regret being polite.

I found out about Great Fulford through the television shows that were produced to show this dying home at the brink of bankruptcy. It is unbelievable how these people are so over one with arrogance. In my opinion no matter how you see it Fulford and his wife are absolutely uneducated and have no manners nor respect whatsoever. Beautiful home but shame they are part of it.
Do NOT VISIT here unless you have booked your visit and be careful of the route for the entrance to the historical place that google shows you as we did not know that we had to book and went to the backyard(Google map's direction) where we were sent out of the place with a very rude manner by the lady who was at the House after we apologised TO HER. She escorted us all the way to the main road and holding her phone taking video from us while driving. She also threatened us with her dog which my friend's son was so scared and we were so disappointed by this kind of behaviour.
