The Great Oakley Estate is a stunning 17th-century country estate nestled in the rolling hills of Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. This magnificent property boasts an impressive Grade I listed mansion, beautifully landscaped gardens, and picturesque woodlands, offering a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Spent a lovely time today. I'm not sure if the storm trooper hit anything today, although.
Today 27 of October around 9:30 I was cinycaly discriminted at this place. I'm a foreigner who has been living, working and studying English here for 2 years. In my spare time I explore the area around Corby by my bicycle. I'm big admirer of rural England and its culture and historical places. This morning I decided to take some photos of beautiful autumn colour and views at "Great Oakley Estate" because was sunny and I was very enthusiastic, I met a man and I greeted him politely, when he noticed that I'm foreigner he rudely banished me out like I was a criminal and threatened me that I'm caught by CCTV and I will have problems. He tried to force me to delete the photos. I have attached the photos and I think they aren't illegal or dangerous?
Beautiful walk in the country, we saw many animals squirrels, ducks, 2 herons, red kites, sheep, donkeys and cows. Absolutely lovely afternoon walk.
Lovely place set up for event
Whilst taking a relaxing stroll through with my girlfriend I was shouted at and harassed by a man from the estate who was incredibly rude and aggressive. Will never go back
Feel at peace here and remember those who are no longer with us
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
