Hilltop destination known for its sweeping views, with a cafe, bar, mini golf & historic tramway.
The summit complex is a nice little spot to grab some food and drinks after your trip up the mountain! the food is pretty nice for such a small place (especially the sweet foods) and the drinks are decent as well! not 5 star worthy food but i can't complain, would definitely recommend the luxury hotel chocolate, especially if you climbed the mountain in the rain like i did! If you like walking, it's definitely a nice walk up, lots of paths and trails to follow, or pick your own route, just be careful of the sheep and thorns
Loved the ride to the top and back on the iconic trams. The summit has a cafe with great food and a souvenir/gift shop. There's crazy golf outside together with a play area for kids. Oh, and the views are spectacular!
Never been so decided on a last minute day out. Lovely place and spectacular views from on the top, the day we went it was blowing quite a Gail so although invigorating it kind of denied my intentions of putting the drone up which would of got some stunning footage. Glad we packed some light weather gear to partially protect us from the elements, a sunny day would be incredible at the summit.
The views are beautiful. The cafe itself has quite an 80's feel inside. Not completely dreadful prices, but certainly not great. It was busy inside and out, but it was a weekend on a nice day. Coffee was pretty average, staff were ok, toilets were poor and the bar wasn't open (I wasn't planning on going to the bar, but some might be). The gift shop was definitely more reasonably priced than most, but it carries the same tat you find everywhere. Plush dragons and things with people's names on or overpriced crystals. Don't expect anything unique or locally crafted. It's a handy place, but definitely don't go out of your way to visit it. The Orme itself is worth it for the views.
Beautiful views, great cafe serving hot and cold food drinks, gift shop and bar. Small crazy golf and (playground which is currently being updated) walk, drive, tram or cable car either way you get up there you won't be dissapointed by the views.
What a lovely place , I have not been to the top of the great orme for many years . I had forgotten just how beautiful the views are up there . We also went around the visitors centre which was really Informative and interesting . We had a really lovely meal at very reasonable price from the cafe in the summit complex . The staff were lovely . There is so much to do on the orme such as the toboggan run the mine the cliff lifts but the scenery upstages everything . If you go to Llandudno please visit the Great Orme it is amazing day out
