A picturesque beach with soft, golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, surrounded by limestone cliffs and scenic coastal paths, offering tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the English Channel.
The best sandy beach! Quiet and peaceful in the morning, even when it got busier there was still plenty of space and great fun. There are public toilets, pay and display parking or we have found a space on the side roads. A couple restaurants in the area but if you want I recommend the Pilot Inn, 7 min drive and no reservations needed.
Lovely sandy beach not overly busy Lovely place to relax beautiful sand dunes
Quiet and peaceful sandy beach, sand dunes, less eating options, car park just near the beach. Check the tide times. Bring food and water with you. toilets near Car park. use Greatstone Car park for easy accessibility to beach. Also flipflops must to walk on sands or barefoot.
Lovely day on the beach with my dear friend and her 6 year old daughter. Luckily hit the beach when tide was just coming in so no sludge to be dealing with.
Lovely stretch of beach. During the day the tide was quite in so a long stretch of sand for the kids to play in. Lots of shells to collect. A fish and chips as well as Kebab & pizza shop nearby for lunch or dinner. The sand is very fine so was flying everywhere - i am sure we ate a bit along with our food Today was sunny but quite windy. Overall a lovely day to be out at the beach. Not very crowded, and lots of parking space available in the car park or nearby streets.
Another one of our most favourite (sandy) beaches to visit with family. Very relaxing quiet place with car park and pub (Jolly Fisherman) across the road with fantastic fish and chips and good selection of drinks.
