Welcome to Green End Farm. We have three beautiful self-catering cottages, set in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. Situated between the picturesque villages of Goathland and Grosmont, Green End Farm enjoys outstanding views of the moors and the famous North Yorkshire Steam Railway. The Sheep Shed, Cow Barn and The Stables are all original farm buildings, lovingly restored and renovated to offer all the modern comforts for an enjoyable taste of Yorkshire life.
Recently back from a lovely, relaxing holiday at Green End Farm with friends. This is our second visit as we love it so much. The Sheep Shed is beautifully designed to a high specification, with everything you need. The views are wonderful, with such a relaxing feel, in a great position to explore the area. We love walking, so such a perfect location. Fran & Andy, the owners are great, so friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was much appreciated. They offer a great meal option, definitely a must. They are great cooks. It was so nice to return to the barn and a prepared meal is waiting for you. Thank you both for another great holiday. Would love to return. Lynn & Barry
Enjoyed a lovely short break at the Cow Barn. The barn is beautifully designed, with stylish decor and very comfortable. Great location for lots of days out and a very relaxing place to chill out or go for walks. Really loved the welcome foods and delicious cake. Would definitely like to stay again.
Best Luxury Gastro accommodation in the area. We've just enjoyed our second stay at Green End Farm Cottages. We did a week here last year in the Sheep Shed, with another couple of friends and enjoyed it so much, that we repeated the experience this year! It is so peaceful and relaxing, as well as lots of walks, and close to Whitby too. Being foodies, we all enjoy good locally sourced food, and after being out walking all day, it was an absolute treat to order evening meals directly from the very approachable hosts, Fran and Andy. We highly recommend their lasagne and curry! Also the breakfast box, with fresh eggs from their hens that roam freely around the farm. The soda bread and muffins in the accommodation upon arrival are also fabulous. We highly recommend.
Myself, and my sister in law and best friend Stayed for the weekend in the Cow Barn. Absolutely lovely place, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner Fran was super friendly and so welcoming and kind and helpful. We Will will definitely be returning again Can not recommend enough.
We had a lovely stay in The Stables cottage via AirBnB. It is an extremely peaceful location with lovely views across the Esk Valley. You can access walking trails from 1 minute outside the house and the 20 minute drive to Whitby is great for access to the coast. The properly was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and cosy. We'd highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful break in the middle of nature. Andy & Fran were helpful and responsive hosts too!
Great location for both walking and exploring the Yorkshire coast line and towns. The cottages are well designed, beautifully furnished with all essentials provided for a great self catering cottage. We will be back.
