A 12-acre maze made from over 150,000 maize plants, with a different theme and design each year, featuring a variety of twists, turns, and dead ends, as well as interactive games and challenges, and a 3D maze section where visitors wear special glasses to create an optical illusion.
Excellent! Bigger and more challenging than last year. Grandma, grandad and granddaughter had a great time, all throughly enjoyed it. Gets warm in the maze, make sure you've got some water with you. Perhaps putting in a bench or two in the maze for the more senior visitors might be a good idea. Thanks for a great visit.
This is the finest Maize Maze in the whole of Wales. The people running g it are very friendly with a great sense of humour. There is a well stocked cafe with a cakes and ice creams. A modest undercover play area and a nice range of seats and tables to rest on after the maze. The maze is complex and easy to get disorientated as the Maize looks very similar. The air is warmer in the maze so be aware of this when entering.
Had a lovely time . Very challenging and we were 2 young adults so it's definitely suitable for all ages. Really liked the added touch of finding superhero's which motivated us to keep going !!! the design and sheer size of the maze is also incredible.
I live locally and have been looking forward to visiting the maize maze for months. I visited with my husband and our 18 month old on Sunday and was hugely impressed with the improvements they have made. The maze itself is always great fun (it took us 1 hour 31 mins from start to finish at a slow pace) since our last visit (2 years ago, couldn't visit last year with a new born) they have added a really impressive play area for kids, we spent at least another 40 mins after completing the maze and could of spent a lot longer if we didn't have other arrangements. I did ask before I left if we could come back just to use the play area and was told that was absolutely fine and just to pay a PS3 donation for using the facilities, which I'm more than happy to do. Lovely and friendly staff as well.
A great activity for children and adults alike. Good amount of challenge, with enough incentive to keep going. We'll set up with a great play area and refreshments availability. Would highly recommend
A beautiful place. The staff were lovely at the entrance, and the maze itself is fun and quite long, taking about an hour to complete.
On-site services
Getting tickets in advance recommended
Good for kids
