Beautiful park / garden, gated access from 3 points, dog friendly, well maintained comfortable benches, lots of quiet secluded spots to read a book or just relax. A green oasis on the edge of town. Check out this beautiful garden that much of the locals are unaware of.
A valuable piece of green space in Newbury, we sometimes use it to be further away from the traffic on the main roundabout nearby if passing on foot. Large area of grass for games or picnics, some large trees and fab flower beds in season, but I feel the council are unsure what the park should be.
One bench, one! And that was an island in a sea of rubbish. Cans, bottles, take away boxes. What a disgusting way to treat a green space.
Wonderful tranquil gardens in the heart of Historic Newbury!
A garden space to relax in
City escape!
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
