Located in the Scottish Highlands, the Greenock Cut Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder that plunges 30 feet down a rocky slope, surrounded by lush greenery and moss-covered stones. The waterfall's source is a small stream that flows from the nearby hills, creating a misty veil that rises from the base of the falls. The roar of the water crashing against the rocks creates a soothing background noise, while the air is filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers and the earthy smell of damp soil. The waterfall is nestled in a secluded valley, accessible via a winding woodland path that adds to the sense of discovery and adventure.
Hidden gem in a short driving distance from Greenock Centre. The scenery and the natural beauty is astonishing.
This is a lovely waterfall and a really nice little walk through the countryside there is a car park with public toilets and a little coffee shop that sells drinks and snacks. I would definitely recommend this if your passing, we came across this while on holiday with our two children and they loved it!
Lovely place very clean it's only a 2 minute walk from the car park but there is some lovely walks about if you want to stay longer. Stopped off at the cafe for a drink and snack staff friendly
I have not really explored the area yet but do plan to in the future. I was only here to to photograph the waterfall the images are not my finshed images I have shown here . Looks like a great area for walking and there is a visitor center and a cafe near by at the local fishery.
A fantastic little walk if you looking for a starting point. Although it isn't exactly a quick stroll it is still good for beginners before challenging tuffer walks with ascents. The ground is pretty decent with a footpath all the way round. But there is a few wee hills here and there. Which would be good training for things like conic hill or the cobbler etc.
Amazing views and walk above Greenock.
