I thought this was a pretty decent park and great for young <10 kids or SEN kids. The rides are varied and there is plenty to keep you occupied for the day. The prices, whilst obviously higher than shops etc, are not a total ripoff and not bad for a theme park. Toilets were well maintained and clean. The queues were quite long but that was because there was a Brownies jamboree day out on I believe. So overall, very good and definitely recommended for those with younger children.
Honestly, I love the concept of a theme park for young children, bridging the gap between a playground and Alton towers. That said, Gulliver's world is feeling very dated and feels like it needs a good clean. I first went to Gulliver's world 20 years ago as a child and now I'm taking my own. The place just feels grimy. Please just pay someone to go round with jet wash and aim it at all the displays.
Lovely staff helpful with my lactose intolerance inside the park and in the hotel. . Lots of rides for all ages. Lots of toilets around the site. We asked other visitors if you can go out of the park at all anc they said no. Take every thing in. When we wanted to check in the hotel they happily stamped my hand. The food and drinks and souvenirs all very reasonably priced.
Great day out for all the family. During school holidays, expect it to be very busy understandably. Recommend the restaurant and grill for lunch, wraps with lamb and chicken are very substantial at PS8 each.
Went for Land of lights festival, which is winter walk and Chinese lantern exhibition . The lanterns are incredibly well detailed , and put together by theme . This year will be all new animals theme , if last year's event is anything to go by , it should be amazing . There is plenty of car parking, , toilet facilities and eating options . We had a Sunday roast in a giant Yorkshire pudding wrap, and very much hoping they do it again this year . This is a winter event , the normal rides are not open . Wrap up warm and get into the Christmas spirit .
Lovely day out for the kids with plenty to do for all ages. Perfect for wheelchair users as the whole park is pretty much on level ground. Halal food spot onsite is a bonus although we didn't know this prior to our arrival so had packed lunches. Could do with more blue badge parking but the rest of the car park has spacious bays on level ground so didn't matter that much.
