Gunver Head is a rugged headland on the north coast of Cornwall, England, marked by towering cliffs, hidden coves, and dramatic sea views. The headland is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with waves crashing against the rocks below. On a clear day, visitors can see the Isles of Scilly, a cluster of islands located off the Cornish coast. The area is a haven for wildlife, with seabirds, seals, and dolphins frequently spotted. The South West Coast Path, a 630-mile hiking trail, passes through Gunver Head, offering breathtaking views of the coastline. The headland is also home to a variety of flora, including gorse, heather, and wildflowers, which bloom in the summer months.
Truly amazing! Outstanding views and when we were here there was hardly another soul in the area so was nice to enjoy it to ourselves! Lots of birds spotted by the cliffs and a great location for a walk and plenty of pics
Lovely spectacular scenery on a rugged cornish coastline with a beautiful turquoise sea . Great for walkers and beach lovers as well . Particularly recomend the seven beaches which when looking at the map are to the west of padstow . All are just a couple of miles apart . Dont rely too much on a phone signal though . You would be better off sending smoke signals . Can be a trifle expensive to eat and drink there but i am very mindful that its a tourist area and come the winter time , their income drops substantially but their bills dont . With that in mind i dont mind paying a little more . Would i go there again ...... ABSOLUTELY !
Amazing views just be careful when taking those all important selfies, I have witness a rather careless behavior, and not veru friendly towards the birds nesting here.
Amazing , breathtaking view.... definitely its a worth watching scene.. Guys Don't miss it....beware of the wind!!!
We went on the Jubilee Queen from Padstow which was an amazing and very cost effective trip
