Gypsy Wood Park is a unique North Wales attraction that all the family will love. There are loads of things to see and do at our outdoor park in the foothills of Snowdonia in North Wales, and we're a must-see attraction for all animal, nature, outdoor, train and fairy lovers.
Looks good, kids play area. We as a family felt it is good for kids for up to 5 years. Elder kids have only the go-kart. Maze wasn't that great. But the giant's path, go kart, kids car, the chess area, ducks race, hook the fish were good and our kid enjoyed. The food in the cafe was fine. We had the margarita flat bread, egg bap, and kids half sandwich bag. It was a good outing but expected more out of it. The braiding was good fun. The cost of the train (PS2 each) could have been included in the ticket price as it's just a toy train ride across the park. The farm animals were nice, but by the time we reached there, we were worn out to enjoy them. Fairy garden part could have been a bit more upgraded, and currently, it's just the tree top house, princess area, and that's all. Finding the gems and exchange for sweets was a great addition by the place. Kids were super excited and motivated to find them all. Parking was abundance, and we did not have to look around much.
Absolutely love this place. It has a lovely quirky vibe. Lots of different things to do and see. The train ticket used to be included in the price but now you have to pay extra which is a shame. My boys loved the diggers but PS2.50 for 4 minutes seems a bit pricey. But otherwise it's a great place.
Had a brilliant day at Gypsy Wood Park with my children, 8 and 4 years old. There was so much fun to be had with a heap of magic too! It was a beautifully sunny day which really added to it but honestly this is such a hidden gem. There were plenty of activities for the children to do and to cater to different ages - go karts, zip line, duck racing, diggers, feed animals and so on! My 4 year old was absolutely enchanted by the fairy forest and doors. Also found the food on site to be good and reasonably priced. The toilets were very clean and I loved the decoration in the disabled/family changing toilet. I definitely hope to come back again soon and would highly recommend. Also a ride on Woody's train is a must!
Gypsy wood is a wonderful place, we used to come here with our son growing up, but decided to visit on our own as hes grown up now!!!! . A magical place to visit especially for little children, but also a lovely relaxing place to walk around without children, can feed the animals too for small charge, staff all friendly
It was our first time and we were very pleasantly surprised by Gypsy Wood. It has so many activities that engaged the kids for ages. It seems magical in its simplicity and has an other-worldly charm with the back story of Romany gypsies and fairies at every turn. From painting a real car to catching you fish with magnetic rods in the ornamental pond and panning for gold in exchange for sweets in the shop - all really thoughtful ideas and a very relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend for young families!
Had a lovely time here today with our 3-year-old and 18-month-old. They loved the animals, the den building, go-karts and trampolines. Daughter loved the fairy stuff and had her face painted. We arrived at 10:30 and stayed until 3:30 so it was a full day - well worth the reasonable price. Very cute place.
