The Habrough is a small village located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles north of the town of Driffield and 25 miles north of the city of Hull. The village is surrounded by rolling countryside and is close to the Yorkshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Habrough is known for its picturesque village pub, the Habrough Inn, which serves a range of local ales and delicious food. The village also has a number of historic buildings, including the 12th-century St. Helen's Church, which features stunning stained-glass windows and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy scenic walks through the surrounding countryside, explore the village's charming lanes and alleys, and experience the warm hospitality of the local community.
Really quirky place, the station is un manned, next to the station Inn is a gun shop, which sells coffee, also some grocery, great genuine people, trains are not frequent.
The platforms are on two separate sides of the road. The platform nearest to the pub heads towards Grimsby/Cleethorpes (EMR). The opposite has trains to Barton-upon-Humber (EMR), Lincoln/Nottingham (EMR) and Manchester/Liverpool (TPE). When travelling westbound be sure to check the destination on the noticeboard (especially late at night) so as not to become stranded in Barton-upon-Humber rather than going to Market Raden/Lincoln. A taxi from BuH to Lincoln is over PS70. There are no services locally, and the pub outside the station is CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays.
Only give it 4, it deserves 5 but, I don't win or even frame often, so until it changes
A platform with a shelter and train info display. No ticket office or facilities. There is however a pub opposite
