This 24-hectare park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and insects, and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including fishing, boating, and cycling, or simply take in the scenery and fresh air. The park also hosts various events and festivals throughout the year, making it a popular destination for families and nature lovers alike.
This park is a hidden gem for nature lovers and dog owners. It offers the perfect blend of well-maintained spaces and natural beauty. The numerous paths and open areas make it ideal for long walks, and my dog absolutely loved running around freely. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot surrounded by flowers or a more open space, there's something for everyone to recharge and connect with nature. The park and nature reserve are clean and nicely organised, showing great maintenance care. There's a car park close to Haden Hill House, which reminds me that I need to visit the museum there soon! If you're seeking a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle, Haden Hill Park is more than worth a visit. It's a tranquil oasis, a great place to 'load your batteries' through contact with nature.

Nice park with nice views, and areas for the children to play. It is quite steep in parts if you are planning to walk around it, and if you're planning on wandering into Corngreaves nature reserve bring wellingtons. No toilets any more.
The best well known park local to Old Hill, Halesowen and Cradley Heath residents. It offers a historic house at it's core with a range of walking paths, plenty of greenery, in addition to a beautiful natural pond at the bottom area of the park. There is a wide open area in the middle of the park and hilly walks either side of the park which may be challenging for elderly or less abled people. A reasonable sized children's play area is located near the main entrance and there is very often an ice cream van in close proximity to this.
We went to see the house lit by candlelight for Christmas. We go every year, it was wonderful as always. The staff were friendly and polite for the most part, one man was a bit rude complaining about people not leaving donations. He wasn't talking about us in particular but I think he should keep his opinions to himself. This was in the older part. People pay to come and see this, and also pay for refreshments. I loved seeing the carol singing inside and outside. I enjoyed having a friendly chat with the staff in the main dinning room and the ladies who were telling us about the Christmas pudding. We will be back next year. One thing that could be improved is lighting in the car park.
Besutiful always but especially lovely in the winter sunshine. Beautiful scenery and great walks. Lovely early signs of spring today in a later visit than the winter views. There was an interesting outdoor art exhibition too. New since my previous visit: on going work on one of the bowling greens. It looks as though it's going to become a formal garden.
