This shooting ground offers a variety of clay pigeon shooting disciplines, including English Sporting, Compact Sporting, and Down-the-Line, set amidst 120 acres of picturesque countryside. The facility features 12 shooting stands, a 120-bird sporting layout, and a dedicated tuition area for beginners.
Great experience with Rob, very patient in explaining the gun and technique. Getting addicted !
Amazing little find. Would highly recommend it both for novices and the experienced. Haven't been in a while so we were able to hire the guns, have a guide and shoot some clays. It caters for all levels and allows you to join as members. Can't thank you guys enough for you professionalism and grounds, even managing to pop a few birds along the way.
Been there a few times now, always made welcome by everyone. Rob is great and gives you good tips, always look forward to shooting there. Stands change weekly.
Great ground with a fantastic mix of well thought out clays that will suit any ability. I've learnt something new every time I've visited! Rob the ground manager is a true gentleman (and both fantastic shot and tutor) who will always and with good humour take the time to talk you through the targets, or just say hello! The targets are a credit to him and his work and he sets new 100 bird runs every week, come rain, shine or snow. Highly recommended.
Had a great time with Rob, we booked a 2 person lesson and learnt so much. Really nice people and a beautiful setting. Have already booked for a second session and look forwards to going with our own shotguns soon.
It was my first time at Haimwood today to test out a new gun. Having recently moved to the area it was great to find such a lovely local clay shooting ground with knowledgeable owners who were always happy to help and offer advice. Brilliant to spend an afternoon relaxing and shooting some lovely stands in a very scenic part of the country. Will certainly be visiting again soon.
