A tranquil oasis in the heart of Essex, Hainault Forest Lake is a picturesque spot surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant wildlife. The lake's calm waters reflect the beauty of the surrounding forest, creating a sense of serenity and peace. Visitors can stroll along the lakeside path, taking in the sights and sounds of nature, or enjoy a picnic on the grassy banks.
Beautiful forest to have a relaxing walk with family and friends. And there are lovely large open spaces. We enjoyed spotting different birds and trying to work out the different animal sounds. There are interesting carvings made out of tree trunks such as a crocodile and totem. The lake is lovely with ducks and Canadian geese. Next time we'll go there for a picnic and visit the Animal farm.
I can't believe I lived in Hainault for five years and never came to this park. I'm really glad we finally came, well worth the visit. Nice walk by the lake, watching the geese. Didn't know you have to pay to park in the car park near the lake, apart from that I had a lovely day .
A little bit crowded in a sunny day but Awesome.
It is a beautiful lake with lot of gees.Saw some boat rides too on the lake.Hope they are doing a boat ride service too.
A place worth coming and definitely amazing to get out of the city and enjoy the quiet and pearly nature just within London.
My family and I hired a boat and we rowed it around the lake. Fun for kids and they all learnt to actually row a boat. Although timed there was no rush if you went over as staff are aware you have to row back to them. You can purchase bird feed and stop your boat to feed swans, ducks etc which all make their way to the boats. No issues parking and would go again with my family
