A hidden gem in minster well worth an hour of your time.kids will love it! Tiny horses rhea(emu like)..goa5s rabbits alpacas qnd riding too!! Even the golden chicken was friendly! To top ot all i dropp3d a fiver on the way in and the lovely lady who owns it gwve it back on th3 way out!! How lovely!
A small family run active farm with lots of horse related activities ongoing while you visit very good to watch, all the horses are beautiful. the petting farm side of it is very makeshift but they have done well and have quite a few animals for the little ones to interact with. The goats are hilarious and super friendly as are all the staff you find there . You can see definite potential for the future if they continue to improve the enclosures as they grow. Its a definite family feel and all the animals are well cared for and all seem very content. Its just PS4 per person ! And 50p for a small pot of feed , what a bargain I will most definitely be going back as its just up the road from us and my daughter loved the animals . Overall its a different and fun way to spend a part of your day that the kids will enjoy
We went a few weekend back and it was grate fun , a good few hours on on the petting farm , never seen a emu up close before so that was interesting , got to see sheep be shared to that also was a cool experience! Also weather was nice too
We took our 2 toddlers to the summer fete. They liked looking at all the animals and playing with all the toys provided. Please remember this is an active family run farm. It will be untidy. It will have poo. It will be dirty. It's what you have to expect with animals. Yes in experience and my opinion having a small holding myself It could have been tidied in certain areas that were on show before the open day, but animals are well cared for and looked happy. They had food and water. Other reviews may have moaned but knowing what it takes on a daily basis to maintain this type of place its bloody hard work. My boys were happy so that's what counts in my eyes. Cried when we left because they were having too much fun.
Walked around the farm in five minutes, believing we were going to a summer fete/farm animal petting experience. There was alot of litter around bare in mind it had only been open for about 20 minutes. The bulls were in a tiny pen. Soft play area was tiny. The baby ducks were in a pen with dirty water. Most the pens had no animals in them. There was a baby lamb in a tiny pen with shade granted but was left unattended and just didn't seem right. The condition of the farm and the experience was just poor. Felt like the experience should of been free really.
Went here with our grandchildren lovely staff. Lots of animals to see But needs to be cleaned up a lot very scruffy the childrens area isn't very safe and just really needs a lot of TLC this could be a fantastic place for families if they just took more care in its appearance and safety.
