And, of course, for the more energetic, there is easy access from the area of Hall Burn onto the top of Moncrieffe Hill itself and the spectacular views of the River Tay, the Earn Valley, and towards Northern Perthshire which can be had there.

The path starts at Edinburgh Rd (opposite Old Mill flats) follow the path next to the Burn until you reach the Cul-de-Sac at the end of Balmanno Park (the street). Cross the street into the Balmanno Park itself then follow the path to the Forgandenny Rd park entrance (Alternative Start Point).
