This 360-acre farm park in Nottinghamshire offers a variety of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. The park features a petting zoo with a range of friendly animals, including goats, sheep, and llamas, as well as a walk-through aviary with birds from around the world. There are also pony rides, a play area with climbing frames and slides, and a miniature railway. The park's farm area showcases traditional farming practices, with demonstrations of sheep shearing, cow milking, and tractor rides. Visitors can explore the park's woodland walks, visit the sensory garden, and enjoy the picnic areas and cafes. Special events and activities are held throughout the year, including animal encounters, craft workshops, and outdoor adventures.
Perfect place to spend a few hours, even if you don't come prepared with pack up, the cafe has very reasonable priced menu. The tractor ride allows the kids to feed potato chunks to the hungry cows and it only costs a pound. Really enjoyed it and will most likely go again!
We have very young grandchildren so we tend to judge outdoor attractions by how good they are for the little ones. Hall Farm Park is excellent. There is a very wide range of play activities for different ages, all kept in excellent condition and all very safe. There are plenty of animals of all sorts. Some are in outdoor paddocks so you can walk around and look at them (most of them seem to want to come up to the fences and interact. Other animals are in pens in a large barn where you can get up close and personal with them if you prefer. Our grandchild timetable meant we could only spend an afternoon there but you could easily spend all day as there is so much to do.
Fantastic day out. Loved the interaction with all the animals, feeding them was a real treat. If you go there please do go on the tractor ride its brilliant and stops off half way you get bucket of potatoes to hand feel the cows which was amazing and a great photo opportunity. There's many animals all of which you freely feed by hand. There's a large indoor play area which keep younger children happy for hours and a chance to have a coffee and cake. Then off you go outside for a family game of crazy golf. If your looking to burn off some energy outside there are two massive airbags/ like trampolines, incredible fun with the kids, a very clean and very enjoyable day. We'll becoming again very soon.
Visited with family and Grandchildren age 2 and 3.5 . They enjoyed all the activities especially the ride on tractors in the play barn . Everything looked well maintained and the animals looked well cared for . The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent. Jacket potato, soup and sandwiches sampled by our party at reasonable prices. I can't remember all the activities but there were crazy golf ,climbing frames a fort swings , bouncy pillows a sand pit , go carts and more . Well worth a visit .
Visited two weeks ago as a family. Been a few times in previous years. It's one of the better value farm-type experiences (although I do feel like most around here are a bit overpriced.) It's not going to give you a proper zoo experience, but there is plenty for younger kids to do: feed the animals, tractor ride/ walking animals, woodland walk, indoor play area, and a small outdoor area with small slides and some trampolines. The short pedal kart track kills a bit of time too. The toilets are acceptable, the cafe area is clean/tidy and pricing about what one would expect these days, with a decent selection for a quick bite. The whole site seems well maintained and all the staff seem friendly and helpful. It's certainly not an all day affair (not for us), but for something to occupy the kids and get some fresh air on a sunny day, it's a safe bet.
Went here for my daughter's friends 5th birthday party, lovely place, very clean and the tractor ride with cow feeding was thoroughly enjoyable to add to this we all got to walk a goat each, they're so characterful and pull a lot harder than any dog I've ever walked! Even though we were there for a party we checked out their prices for a return visit and they're so competitively priced, better than others in the area! Will definitely be returning with the girls soon! Thank you for a lovely time!!
