Absolutely great family day out! Lots of things to do for everyone. Having some change is ideal but not essential as you can buy tickets for the rides upon arrival or you can go back once everyone has decided what they want to go on and pay by card at the reception. There's some great animals handling sessions which my boys loved. There is a fabulous park and a barn for eating picnics or bought food as well as a lot of outdoor eating spaces. I would say they have really considered accessibility with wheelchair users very much considered. One of our party was a wheelchair user and there's was only the tube slide which he couldn't access. We were led to believe this is still in testing but our physically disabled guest could not go on unaccompanied as he would need adult support to use the ride but this was denied. I would say staffing needs to be more in control of their rides in particular the tube slide as kids were just queue jumping leaving little ones to stand and wait while bigger kids pushed through. I would say the sledge run also needs to be supervised for exactly the same thing. I would advise parents stay with their children until they access the ride to ensure no pushing in. Overall our day was great, only minor issues but no one was bored even adults were well entertained. Keep an eye out for the llamas/alpacas as they were in the romancing mood the day of our visit and we had some interesting questions to answer.
My daughter said it was the best of all the animal farms we have visited (she loves animals, so it's quite a few!), she loves being able to interact with the animals, feeding the lamb, bags of animal fed and petting the animals. She would visit every day (but it's a bit of a commute from Ireland!) My mum was able to walk around with ease (a bit wobbly on the feet!), all the animals were my daughters favorite and she enjoyed the activities. We'll be back, for now she'll just catch up on Facebook!
Had a brilliant day here. Staff were lovely and polite, plenty to do. We were there for 3 hours and enjoyed every moment. Clean and tidy, good atmosphere. Jeep safari and ride on the little bullet train incurred a small fee but not at all over priced to see your children enjoying themselves. Plenty of places to sit, not over priced. A brilliant day out for all the family
Loved the visit here. Me and the Mrs visited as she was gifted a wee coo adoption that prompted the visit when we were back in the UK visiting family. Can only imagine visiting with kids or grandkids would be such a great family experience. Place to eat, buy souvenirs, let the kids play and of course visit the animals (avoid the pig pen if you just ate :o)). Views are stunning - weather was fantastic EO July.
I absolutely love this place, been a few times and always a smile on everyone's faces, even the staff! Holding the chick's, rabbits and guinea pigs was a treat and lamb feeding is excellent for both adults and children. A huge park, tractor rides and lots of animals. What more can you ask for. Tractor rides, huge slides and ride on jeeps (jeeps are PS1.50 per jeep not per person). Car park is huge and wheelchair/pram friendly as is the site itself with a disabled toilet / baby changing, it caters for everyone.
Excellent trip, and the children loved it. It's great to also re- live your youth and remember school trips from the 90s doing the exact same things the children were doing today. Well worth a visit, especially if the sun is shining. Food options onsite, toilets available, indoor play area, and plenty to do outside to keep the children busy
