A bit of a trip down memory lane for me,I fished this place when I was younger. I fished the second lake, and cought plenty of bream and a couple of tench. Beware if you fish with maggots on the bottom there are a lot of eels about. But would recommend. And apparently there are alot of large carp in the fist lake.
Great day fishing available here. I've had Bream to 8lb, Tench to 5lb and loads of Roach and Rudd. Also Perch and Eels Beautiful setting. As at 2024 it's PS7 for the mixed lake and PS10 for the carp lake, pay on the day. I think it's listed on Catch and there's also a Facebook page
Absolutely great, both lakes, our favourite fishing spot, well spaced out spots, friendly owners, couldn't be happier with it
Lots of different species of fish i went on the mixed lake i cought 3 ells and roach
Two beautiful lakes that are split by a little dam wall, with great features like a old wobbly walk way that sits on top of the water and other quirky spots to walk out on! Very friendly owner (Bill), place could do with a bit of strict management in the sense of some rules to follow and a more active fishing community is definitely needed in my opinion! also a good swim neaten up wouldn't go a miss, the place has a massive amount of potential and I could see it being a very popular venue! Will be fishing here more often from know for sure.
Having a 5 day fishathon, one little ghostie so far, it's not meant to be easy here for carp but I'm not after easy. More quality than belly size, some of these fish are older than me! Beautiful place in April.
