Nearly wild greenfield campsite but with the advantage of showers and washing up area. To protect the ecosystem we do not permit open fires or ground based BBQs but there is an adjacent area of ancient woodland with an improvised firepit. This woodland is a haven of peace and tranquillity and gives visitors the chance to enjoy the sounds of nature first hand.
Great little campsite with easy access to the long mynd by foot via a couple of miles of forestry track. Good facilities including drinking water and a shower block with toilets, kitchen sink and coin operated showers, all kept very clean. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable about local area and wildlife, very kind people. I stayed for four nights on foot and would also recommend the lovely walk through Minton to the local pub and village at little stretton. The campsite is in a very quiet and peaceful location surrounded by farm land and on a clear night stars are visible. There is also access to a small woodland with a lovely short circular walk and picnic bench.
Nice campsite, lots of space, quiet at night. PS16 for the two of us and a nice view. Had a clean portaloo and a shower facilities available. 3 mile walk to Little Stretton with two very nice pubs. Would stay again.
We love this campsite it is a little wild life haven with a wonderful wood for a morning stroll .Its quiet and has fantastic fasilities all you need for camping all very clean and well maintained. The owner is lovely and friendly and the site has a relaxed feel, that makes an enjoyable stop over.
Lovely, peaceful little site. Immaculate shower and toilet block and a really friendly owner would definitely recommend.
A lovely small campsite. The owner is really friendly and helpful and keeps the small (but well ventilated) facilities spotlessly clean.
Great campsite, Angela is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again, beautiful part of the world. Thanks for everything.
