The palace grounds and gardens are equally stunning. From the world famous maze to fairy tale ornamental gardens, exploring outside is a magical treat.
A must-see. A beautiful place with an interesting history. Be sure to take an audio guide. The castle rooms are worth seeing, the ceilings are a work of art. Beautiful, well-kept grounds, the only thing that upset me was that not all courtyards are accessible for walking. There is a place to have a snack both in the closed courtyard of the castle and on the street. We spent the whole day and the time flew by pretty quickly. I would have definitely walked around the castle for a couple more hours. A good children's area and an exciting labyrinth.
Very nice! A lot of richly decorated rooms, the specially designed rooms where the meals were cooked, a large and well-kept park, panoply of weapons, a gallery with a lot of paintings, a cafe where you can have a snack or a drink. Great, you need at least 3 hours to see everything.
very historic and educational. Staff very polite helpful and knowledgeable about the place. Shame chapel was closed due to renovations but one could still see from balcony. very nice day . parking was a 500 m walk away but happened to find parking g easily
Great experience, would recommend getting the audio guide or booking a tour. We were two adults and spent 5 hours in the Palace so expect a full day to see the Palace and gardens. The audio guide has a family option for the younger visitors. We did go to the cafe and was disappointed at how overpriced it was. PS4.50 for a small cup cake and PS3.00 for a can of coke.
Somewhere in between a palace and a castle. It is a full day activity with great audio tour. The gardens are lovely and there is a maze and playground for the kids. We enjoyed our day here
As a history fan this place was amazing in my eyes, staff are friendly and helpful. We took our children so we didn't get to stand and read/look at everything but we still had a great time. The gardens are amazing, we got there at 10am on a Sunday and managed to park on site at PS1.50 an hour not bad at all in our eyes! Food and drinks are very PSPS we brought our own. will be going back
