Traditional park with an adventure playground, summer splash area, sports pitches, events and cafe.
Very nice to walk around for the family. Lots for younger and older children to do but unless you're just going to walk around the Japanese garden and use the playground, then you will have to play per person to use the rides. They can range from PS2.50 and upwards per person so not the cheapest of you have a large family like myself. Plenty of grassy areas to let the kids round around and loads of picnic benches. About 1 min walk away from the beach and sea front.
Lovely walk around this park with a wheelchair user, beautiful plants & flowers, children's mini train, splash area & playground & more. Cafe serving great food & drinks.
Lovely park very clean many things to do with the kids in there. We came late so we had a go in splash area PS4 each, little playground and trampolines about PS1.50 for 5 min. There is much more things to do with the kids but for us was unfortunately too late. Definitely would return again.
Amazing park. Prices weren't bad at all for the splash park and play park. Only bad point for us was the water on the splash park is freezing cold, our son has a congenital heart defect and when he's cold he turns very very blue and it effects him more than someone with a normal heart. He's had open heart surgery and he's only 3 surgery was when he was 1. Nothing could be done with the water temp but my husband enjoyed making our little one giggle by running through the water himself. I will say too the young blonde lad working the entrance to the splash park on Saturday and Sunday 1st and 2nd June 2024 was a lovely lad and a credit to the team of staff at happy mount park
Just went for a walk this morning and ended up walking round the park. Not sure if someone had forgotten to lock the gate but don't think it was supposed to be open so was a nice quiet walk whilst going over my thoughts...was greeted by the most amazing sunrise coming up over the Lake District .
Great place for a walk, kids to play, cafe looked good too. Lots of roadside parking, I only had a quick cycle round but I'm sure you can spend an hour or two there
