This 18th-century Palladian-style mansion in Berkshire, England, features a stunning facade with a grand central pediment, Corinthian columns, and a symmetrical layout. The interior boasts opulent decor, including intricate plasterwork, ornate chandeliers, and fine artwork. The estate's beautifully landscaped gardens, designed by renowned landscape architect Lancelot "Capability" Brown, offer scenic walks, a tranquil lake, and picturesque views.
Gorgeous park. Well maintained.
Went to spiritual event to raise money for charity. Good food and event. Locals are trying to repair and improve the premises.
Lovely little park great for all I took this photo of the first crocus
A fabulous community space, gorgeous building, brought back to life by an army of civically minded volunteers.
Go to man's club on Wednesday afternoon it's brilliant run by Peter Reed.
I don't hate this place. It is the fact it is misnamed:((( Hare Hill House, the old Littleborough council offices is now a charitable local amenity for various groups. The place I visit is Littleborough Library, attached to the big house, but still owned by Rochdale Council. It is a glorious little building with stained glass windows. It is well run, friendly and welcoming. As well as a library, it hosts various group activities such as craft, art and some U3A groups. If you are new to the area, it is a great place to get to know people and find out about local amenities. Added to its charm is its location...Hare Hill Park, a little Victorian gem with wonderful views of the surrounding Pennines.
