This beautiful garden is a tranquil oasis in the heart of Northern Ireland, featuring a stunning collection of plants, flowers, and trees. The garden's design is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, with meandering paths, ornate bridges, and a picturesque pond. Visitors can explore the garden's many hidden corners, including a sensory garden, a herb garden, and a variety of themed borders. The garden is also home to a charming tea room, where visitors can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea surrounded by the serene beauty of nature.
An absolute gem in the beautiful Down countryside. This is a beautifully kept memorial garden with a sculpture that could be of any mid 20th Century farmer. Parking is great. Benches comfortable.
The Harry Ferguson Memorial Garden is a fitting tribute to the inventor of the modern tractor who revolutionized agriculture.
An understated and nice place containing an excellent statue to this important inventor. There is plenty of free car parking and the short route to the statue is suitable for all mobility levels. The short path to the statue also contains information boards and benches on which to sit The statue is one of my favourites and is genuinely nice, in my opinion. I would recommend visiting here if you are in the area.
Good car park, plenty of info to read, impressive peice of art.
Very comprehensive history and nice photography options without feeling like we were invading a private home
This is an understated memorial to a great innovator - established by modest private/family funds to a man who, in many ways, helped shape our modern world - he deserved a much more publicly funded tribute. I would have liked to have seen models of his creativity.
