Hartsholme Country Park is a park full of wildlife and history in the city of Lincoln. The park is open 24/7 all year round, there is a visitor centre, cafe and car parking on site (car parking closes at 6pm).
We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely, quiet evening walk beside the lakes, over the white and black bridges, on good paths through a natural treescape. I was delighted to realise we did not see any litter or mess on our route. Well done to the users and those who care for Hartsholme Park.
A beautiful park set in the middle of a housing estate. There are several walks to take around the park, and there are lots of bird watching and photography opportunities. There's a lovely cafe here that does a selection of hot food, drinks, ice creams. Plenty of places for the kiddies to play as well. One slight criticism is there needs to be more signs warning families not to feed bread to the ducks/geese as I saw a family today doing just that. There are lots of spaces to park and there is a bus service that stops near the park as well. Highly recommended.
A bird watching paradise! This park is glorious. A wonderful few hours spent walking through woods and round lakes. Marvellous. There's a play park for kids, a cafe and toilets. The whole park is dog friendly. It's teeming with wildlife.
Lovely afternoon strolling around the lake some lovely sights to see. Great park for children and coffee shop for parents
Very lovely place to enjoy some nature, and kids to explore and play.
First visit what a beautiful place had a picnic with my partner, his daughter, my daughter, and her girls. We took the dog, too.
