Hastings miniature railway is just under half a mile in length operating between Rock a Nore station (located by Rock a Nore road car park) and Marine Parade station (located near the boating lake and crazy golf). The railway operates daily through-out most of the year and weekends in the winter months. Trains operate on timetables with a 20 minute service on single train operation days and 10/15 minute service at peak times on 2 train services. The railway has a large collection of motive power including Steam, Diesel, Petrol and Electric locomotives. The coaches are semi-closed and canopy type. Very friendly little steam railway, giving a little ride along the sea front. Highly recommended as it gets you from the car park to the town area quite easily. Get the all day rover ticket to save money for the return trips!
PS2.50 pp for single trip, from esplanade to rock a nore if you want to do return it is PS4 pp still good price
Great little family run attraction for everyone. Single ticket for PS2 or PS3 return. It takes you to the amusement park. Lovely ride for the whole family through the fishing village of Hastings. Close to major car parks and other attractions. Different types or trains operating quite frequently. No card payment is accepted (did not expected) so make sure you have some cash. I would definitely recommend this for anyone.
Lovely experience for the small ones. Don't be like me, buy the whole day ticket for PS6 and the childrens will be happy whole day. Please prepare for cash, as card not accepted.
