Educational farm attraction and Victorian shopping village with 25 specialist shops and boutiques.
Shop, outlets were mostly closed, but the park was open and fun for all ages, but the weather didn't play ball at all, we got soaked, but enjoyed all we could whilst there. Well worth a visit ! Nice surprise though, rainy day guarantee!! E mail received offering us a free re visit because of the weather, wow what wonderful kind business sense. As long as taken within two weeks of your original visit, this is fantastic, so fair to the mom's n dad's, nans and grandads that spend to entertain the young ones. A big thumbs up for doing this for the families that visit.
A letdown. We visited as a family of four, and our kids were bored and disappointed because in theory there's plenty of fun stuff to do, but it's all closed or restricted to minimal 30 minute windows with long waits between. When we questioned this, staff pointed to the activities program, but neither the website nor the program explains that most activities are unavailable for most of the day. In practice, school groups take priority over everyone else, and the whole place is understaffed. Workers included several overwhelmed teenagers and a few stressed adults, who are no doubt doing their best in challenging circumstances. The "included in the price of admission" laser tag was closed/unbookable, a number of games which look fun/open from a distance all require extra coins to operate, and several playground items are overdue some maintenance. When buying tickets online there's a clear warning about the PS2 all day parking charge which is helpful but a warning about how most activities are unavailable would have been much more useful. There were even posters up in the cafeteria which promised all day animal handling but that simply isn't true. Some redeeming qualities: there are a few interesting animals to admire from a distance, like Shetland ponies and a wallaby. A couple of members of staff were kind to the kids when we eventually did get to see the guinea pigs, and one person working in the gift shop was also friendly. All in all, this failed to live up to the promise of the website. The term-time tickets are heavily discounted; at least now we know why. We made the best of a disappointing visit, but we won't be back. If you're looking to entertain kids, look elsewhere.
A great Easter Sunday day out with the family! Lots to do including an Easter egg hunt, indoor play area feeding baby animals that are new in season (so cute and my fave) and a big outdoor space to have lots of fun!
Fantastic all day family fun, huge slides in the soft/play/cafe. Make sure to check what time everything is on and give yourselves ten minutes to get to each event as the grounds are quite big.
Excellent! We are a group with disabled children and their families. All children and adults are well catered for.
Great day out. Saw lots of baby animals. Lots of activities including a good soft play. Enjoyed the encounters with the animals. The show was amusing and the grand national sheep race was great fun. Could easily spend a full day here
