The reserve is particularly notable for its dragonfly population, with over 15 species recorded.
Nice visitor centre and cafe. Walked round perimeter of the wildlife park. It is about a mile or so on good paths with several bird hides. (Car parking PS2)
Great place to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Good place for wildlife watchers. The walk is about 2 miles all way round. Cafe, toilets, and car park (PS2). Well worth a visit.
Still exploring the area but so far can't recommend it enough. Fabulous area to walk round and watch nature at its best, ideal for bird watchers with a variety of hides available to observe various locations. Other walks available too taking you down to the sand dunes and beach area. Great cafe on site that sells a variety of food (the scones are exceptionally good)
A fascinating and surprisingly quiet nature reserve with lots of hides and some useful information for beginners. It seems to be a very well run place, with parking, a stunning view from the cafe, very reasonable prices and even a small but thoughtful gift shop. I think many of the people in the cafe were regulars.
Lovely walk donation entry fee. Saw lots of birds. Lovely views. Nice coffee shop.
A gem. So glad local lady told us about it. My birding sister overjoyed and really nice for us non-birders too. Don't miss scones in cafe.
