Used to be nice,,,, lately and over the last six months at least, everything has been hacked down and stacked up in piles,Hardly any green to see across the common,just dead timber(see pics) and young tree stumps ???? APPARENTLY all in the name of modern day biodiversity. Nice wide paths for cutting through to the pubs,get a small car down some,,,,LOL
Walked from Hayes Station, into quiet woodland. However there are a couple of fast roads to cross, to get as far as Keston ponds, which might be tricky with small children. Lovely scenery around the ponds.
Beautiful old woodland. Very well managed. We picking up litter there today during our walk but the friends of Hayes common do a good job of keeping it tidy. I've heard baby badgers and seen fireflies at night here before. A very holy and spiritual place
Open common land, rough paths, woodland, dog walkers and kids. A place of my childhood and I love it. Beware the roads that criss cross it, but a lovely place for a wander, for an hour or make it as long as you like.
Good for dogs walking, I love woodland. Beautiful woodland, there are very large park, I had been walking long walk. I love trees There's three Common circus walking too.
I visited here in May 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This is a peaceful rural area to explore.
