I decided to have a walk here, on my own. Such a Beautiful place to for a quiet stroll. I was disappointed only by the fact, where is all the wildlife? I saw very few butterflies , very few Bees . I heard nor did I see any Crickets or Grasshoppers. I have noticed this in several areas of both woodlands and grasslands... it's is a major concern!
What a lovely little place this is... My dogs had a lot of fun doing all the exploring..belle got a bit mucky
Good place for easy flat dog walk
A lovely little spot of nature. Located to the edge of the Hazelton estate is this area of green. A few paths criss-cross the reserve allowing a for a pleasant wander. On a warm summers day you might be lucky enough to spot, lizards, slow worms or even an adder. When ever you go you will she and hear a whole load of birds. There isn't any specific parking but there is plenty of on street parking in the area.
Well I think it's amazing it lovely and peaceful and we haven't explored it all yet as we are new to the area. I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful place to visit only a short walk from my home. It's free too!
Lovely area for the dogs. Couple of ponds to watch out for if you want a nice smelling dog after your walk.
