Walks through a peaceful plantation of new oak, birch & willow trees, plus wildflower meadows.
This is a great place for walking a dog or just going for a stroll knowing there are good paths. There is plenty of parking but no facilities. Well laid out. Walk time 1 to 2 hours. The e teramce road is single track with sparse passing bays. However, when busy, it is best to just go slightly off the road. They could have just made the road a tad wider to avoid this issue.
A lovely place I keep going back to. Highly recommended. Well kept, no admission charges or parking charges. Plenty of parking on hard ground in the winter and grass in the summer. Not overcrowded and other dog walkers happy to stop and chat.
A great place for a walk with plenty to see and miles of woodland and fields to enjoy. Would definitely recommend for a family stroll, or even a stroll on your own. A great place to enjoy naturr
Had an amazing afternoon, walks are very laid out and the pathways are immaculate and tidy, I went with a pushchair and it was easy enough for us to go around
Been visiting the Forest since the beginning It's growing into a beautiful place for nature Trees have really grown tall and the meadows are gorgeous with many wild flowers Bluebells are beautiful during the Spring Paths are well kept and the whole area is expertly managed A lot of people use the forest for dog walking and it is disappointing to see them running unleashed into areas where there are nesting birds Car park is large and free Overall a very pleasant place to visit
It's a nice place to walk with your dog and relax, but I think it's even more charming in summer, because it was a bit muddy today. Anyway, I recommend this place.
