A 12-acre park featuring a playground, skate park, basketball court, tennis courts, and a bowling green, surrounded by walking trails and offering picnic areas and scenic views.
Beautiful park for the whole family. Contained play area with many different swings, slides etc for all ages. There is a big open lawn space for sports. About 800m unpaved loop around the edge (under trees for two thirds) great for doggos or runners. Skate park. Toilets, tennis courts (book online) and shaded picnic tables. Paddle pool is not due to be open in 2024 (have asked the council) but fingers crossed for next year
Great playground and field thats a bit of a hidden gem. Clean playground and field. Well maintained. Car parking available. There's also a water point but it sometimes doesn't work
Well kept park with a basket ball pitch, 3 free tennis courts, paddling pool, swings and slides for the lil ones. Good for dog walking and jogging too. Very big park away from traffic so children are safe.
Great for walking the dog when wet, path to walk on but still able to walk them off the lead.
Visited for first time in over 20 years and oh my gosh the council have actually plowed money into this place. There is something for everyone, it's clean and manicured. My daughter nearly choked on a leaf, but that's not their fault, I probably shouldn't have given it to her.
This place is great. I used to go here as a kid all the time, the playground was very fun. There is also a small pool for use in the summer. Also the field itself is beautiful and large, making it perfect events. And there often very fun events here
