This is a piece of grass beside the road with the only place to stop or park in the esso garage just past on the left. So far from a runway it's not worth the effort. Very disappointing.
You can only see the take offs from here most of the times as planes rarely land on this end. Besides it's not a (kind of) proper area like Myrtle Avenue where people can spread out with their sunbathing chairs. It's just grassy patch on side of the road. On plus side, you have a petrol station with Subway and Greggs inside and a pub nearby.
Fantastic place. Just check if airplanes are using this runaway before heading there.
