Wonderful morning out with our little one. Only a short straightforward ride, but the experience is really nice. The volunteers are absolutely fantastic - can't speak highly enough of all of them. Think everyone should go and experience it.

This is a small, short heritage railed, staffed by volunteers, all of whom are passionate, welcoming, and very helpful. Despite its short length, the views across the Cornish countryside are beautiful. The foxgloves were out en masses, but I wish we'd visited earlier, when the bluebells take over!

We've been twice, firstly with our 8 month old for the Halloween event now 14 month old for the teddy bear ride and loved it. Our daughter absolutely loved it both times. The volunteers are all so friendly and the most helpful people, can't fault them at all! They make such an effort to ensure you have a great time, it makes all the difference when everyone is so smiley and pleasant. We are locals in Helston and will definitely be returning many more times. Keep up the good work with all the improvements and thank you to the brilliant volunteers!

A great little preserved railway. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and volunteers. A nice train ride through beautiful countryside. We enjoyed lunch in the carriage tea room. The food was really good and very tasty. We had a really nice morning here.

Good experience, train restaurant is awesome. View would be good when there are some blooms in the field.

It's only a little steam train but we've got to support it or it will be gone. Friendly knowledgeable staff, Rae was lovely from the buffet car.
