Beautiful park, lovely town. A pity that it's soooo ridiculously expensive. I went for a pint and burger in a pub afterwards which cost me over PS25 which is ridiculous. The next day a bacon sandwich cost me PS9.85. So priced out of being able to do anything really. Lots of snobs in this town too so not my cup of tea (which I was incidentally charged almost a fiver for!)
Today was a lovely day! Our Little One riding his bike Enjoying the space... lovely walk beside river Thames.
What a lovely spot to find on a sunny day around Easter. By the river, not many people so lots of space for a kickabout with the dog, a car park nearby, lovely high street and water for the dog, ice cream vans close by. Playground not far away, cafes in abundance. Lovely. Said hello to the local celeb chef ... altogether a succesful day :0) enjoy.
Lovely park and gardens for a picnic or walk along the river. Easy access to the playpark for younger children also. If travelling with under 5's, nip into the cafe as they have a small soft play area - perfect to occupy the kids whilst the parents can have a coffee in peace!
