This 12-acre park features a large playground, walking trails, a skate park, a basketball court, and a football pitch. Visitors can also explore the park's gardens, which include a sensory garden, a rose garden, and a community garden. The park also hosts various events and activities throughout the year, including outdoor concerts, festivals, and fitness classes.
Great park for children of all ages. As well as all the playground equipment, there is also a walk through the woods and ornamental gardens up near the old Hall. In the old Hall on from Thursday's onwards the cafe is open currently from 11:00 a.m. The cafe sells the delicious Ginge ice cream which is made locally. Please note the cafe is closed from Monday to Wednesdays currently. There is also a museum in the Hall with an interactive miniature railway and a lot of details from old new mills and a little shop. Also a toilet for people for less able people. Absolutely well worth a visit.
Lovely park to relax or have fun with the kids, well kept for the most part
We parked at high lea park on side street and it's good for kids with playing area. My 11 year old child liked it. Restrooms were not clean. Water to wash hands was ice cold. After park we crossed the road and went down towards the other area and it was a good walk with bridge etc.
Very nice park with plenty of activities for young, younger and older kids! The open gym is also really nice! Fantastic place for the r spending some time outdoor !
A great place to take the kids. On warmer days, an ice cream van turns up. There's also different events going on in the park throughout the year. The bubble party is a favourite with the locals. The park is built on a hill so expect to be walking up and down a hill while visiting here.
