This 18th-century farmhouse turned visitor attraction showcases rural life in the Yorkshire Dales. Explore the farmhouse, outbuildings, and surrounding countryside to discover traditional farming practices, heritage breeds of livestock, and the region's rich cultural heritage. Interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and activities bring the past to life, while the on-site café serves local specialties and refreshments.
Visited during the pumpkin patch and I was so positively surprised. The place was so well decorated and there was many good pumpkins. We also did the trail even though we don't have any kids and it was fun. There was toilets on site and tables to picnic or buy some food. The pumpkins were not expensive at all around PS3-10 I would say depending on the size. Will definitely come again in the future.
For camping. Personally the toilets are dirty and showers and poor quality which you have to pay for. Washing up area no hot water or lights. Site is nice but these issue would me I wouldn't come back. But if your happy with that then all OK
Superb sunflower field!! Entrance for charity. Buy some refreshments and some stems too.
What a lovely spot. Nice to see so many happy bees about.
Wasn't expensive but still , paying extra for showers pretty much means we just paid the main fee just to park overnight on some grass. Wasn't bad. But wasn't good either.
Great day out, good value, kids loved the hay bale maze
Getting tickets in advance recommended
Good for kids
