Absolutely stunning place We were there early, so it was quiet and very peaceful. We read the amazing poems, peered over the cliff edges and squeezed in between some of the rock formations so we could fully explore the monument. Would definitely go again
Came across this little gem of a pub/hotel with its own train station. We were lucky enough to see the steam train, whilst enjoying our drinks in the garden. Plenty of seating area, both in the open and shade.
Did not expect that beauty, a truly hidden gem, amazing rocks and views! Be careful, no barriers! Watch your step. There is a big free car park, and you can have a good lunch in a nearby italian restaurant. If you wish, you can take a steam train to High Rocks station, hop off, walk around, and hop on a train. Expect 1 hour at min to check on all the rocks.
Interesting place to visit especially if doing the Spa Valley Railway, which has a stop in the beer garden of the pub across the way. You buy tickets at the pub.
Such a great day to find this little hidden gem. A beautiful place to walk around and they hold wedding ceremonies here.
We held our wedding at the High Rocks in August and were truly blown away by the service we were provided. Not only is the venue itself beautiful, the service really is second to none. We booked quite far in advanced and they were with us at every step along the way, always on hand with any questions or queries. The day itself was completely seamless from start to finish. Our guests were made to feel so comfortable and we were completely guided through the day by our toastmaster Martin. All staff on hand were excellent. Thank you especially to Stuart, Maggie and Giuseppe for always being on hand. We cannot wait to come back for our anniversary dinner. Nicola and Ewan
