This 70-acre park features a mix of woodland, grassland, and wetland habitats, with several walking trails, including the Higham Hill Trail, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, bats, and insects, and has several ponds and a lake that attract waterfowl and anglers. Visitors can explore the park's natural beauty, enjoy a picnic, or participate in outdoor activities like birdwatching, cycling, or horse riding.
Clean playground for children to play. Has picnic tables for dinner or snacks with them. Great green area around as well.
Amazing place. Great outing for babies and children.
Outdoor gym smells bad and is pretty old equipment, good enough if you're a beginner and/or have a pair of rings
Large area to walk and play. Park for small children, under 5, but also another one for 5+ A large park dog where all dog lovers can meet with their little paws. Coffee shop opened every day Very clean and maintained.
Parking is virtually impossible.* Residents Only for 5, 6 or 7 days a week. Check carefully! Nice little park, small area for dogs to run off leash. Looks fairly secure - but a few areas which might be passable if your dog is an escapologist. Also, be extra vigilant about low traffic school zones - I received a fine in the post. Not worth the effort, in my humble opinion! * I searched fairly diligently, only one small area within walking distance for up to 3 hours. In theory this should hold about 6 cars if parked sensibly but selfish folks can fill it with 3 cars plus big gaps! I was hanging off the end today as the 4th car. Not at all car friendly. Avoid unless you are local.
