An excellent trip on a Highland Safari. Two and a half hours of being in a Land Rover with a guide (Allan) who was full of facts about the wildlife and fauna on the route. Even on an overcast day the views were spectacular. There are various types of trips available here and other activities. There is a small cafe (mainly soup, cakes and drinks). Toilets and gift shop are also on site. Car park is free to patrons.
Hubby & I enjoyed the 2.5hr Safari tour with our guide Robin, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun, making the time absolutely fly. We're saw the herd of Red deer and some stunning views and I tasted one of the best drams of whiskey I have ever enjoyed. Whilst we were not fortunate to see any sea eagles, it was great knowing it was a possibility. Highly recommend the Safari and we look forward to coming back and trying something else on offer.
Well worth doing this if you're in the area. PS15 was definitely value for money. Both me and my partner did the red deer experience for 45mins...loved every second. Tony, who led our group, was awesome and knew his stuff. He couldn't have been better at what he did and really put on a great show for us with the owls and deer. As for the cafe it was lovely too. The young lasses that work there did a grand job and the cakes and brew before our experience was very tasty. You all do a fantastic job here and the staff and centre are a true asset and key cog to the working of the local area and in turn Scotland.
Had a wonderful morning here with our two little ones (ages 2 and 6 months). Cute play area with slide, sandpit etc. Our 2 year old especially loved the mini tractors he could "drive" around on. There's a mini walk where you can see the deer in the fields and nice views. We also did the deer experience, which the whole family loved. Robbert was our guide and we were really impressed. Was very informative and fun. We also had a drink and some scones at the cafe and thought the scone was especially yummy! Would definitely recommend.
Such a lovely place to visit, and cyclists very welcome. Next door to Dull, (which is also well worth a stop,) Highland Safaris has so much going on that you could spend a very enjoyable day here. Although I only called for a pot of Earl Grey, a fruit scone and a bowl of carrot and coriander soup the whole experience was totally delightful. Such friendly people, a great cafe and the most deliciously fresh fruit scones. If you're passing - make sure you definitely call in. Super soup too.
Simply spectacular. The deer experience was great, Robbie was really funny and informative. Archery with Colin was also a blast, really lovely day. All the staff are superb. Must visit!!
