Hands down one of the best things I've ever done. I mean, sure, I get it, reading about walking among some cows? How could this be any good. But trust me and all the other reviews here... You will have an unforgettable experience! There is also a lovely place to eat some local products with some tea. We visited in June this year and booked using Facebook. The PS20 you pay for the tour will be used for food and medicine for the cows! Our guide, Graham, was an absolute joy to be around. He knew all the cows by name and all the history of the farm. We had such a fantastic experience! My friend and I stumbled onto the tours by chance and they were kind enough to fit us in. (Please book ahead through their Facebook group!) We got to meet the "coos" up close and personal, learn their names, and give them pets! The tours are run by the family of crofters that care for the cows and they are wonderful. Iain was so welcoming and informative and it was really special to hear about the cows first hand. I highly recommend this tour!
The tour was fantastic!!! We got to spend an hour with the cows and they're all super friendly! The herd is cared for by a local family who've been here since the 1700's so all the cows have names! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to get up close and personal with highland cows!
What can I say this place is absolutely amazing! Had a very warm welcome! Me being an anxious person anyway they made me feel at ease! The walk to the highland cows was abit long in fact I hurt my calf no fault of there's of course just a very unfit girl but was made to feel better as I tagged way behind and the man waited for us to catch up and asked was I okay! Very caring! Now highland cows! I couldn't believe my eyes! I couldn't in fact believe we got to so close that close you got to pet them till your heart was content! We were told many amazing facts and also how they came about doing this! You could see they had a very close bond with the cows! They're very well cared for! To the end of the tour the man asked if I wanted a lift back down in his car back to the car park very caring farmers for sure! And for their customers! I'll definitely be back again next year this is a must see! If anyone is travelling and want an up close and personal with a highland cow!

The owners are really nice and funny and we learned a lot of things about highland cows, the culture and the history of the village so the price was really worth it!
