This 18th-century estate features a stunning Georgian-style mansion surrounded by 100 acres of picturesque parkland, offering scenic walking trails, a tranquil lake, and a variety of wildlife. The hall itself boasts an impressive collection of art and antiques, including works by renowned artists such as Gainsborough and Reynolds. Visitors can explore the opulent state rooms, including the grand staircase, the saloon, and the dining room, all of which showcase the hall's rich history and architectural grandeur.
Lovely walk around the grounds and large pond, pay and display car park water fall to the right, nice little cafe has outside seating n indoors, water bowls for dogs provided. Started to make a children's play area looks like it will be a great one
My favourite place to go locally. So beautiful in all seasons for the sunsets and open space and scenery. Makes a beautiful walk to Baggeridge too and the Bluebells in spring are absolutely incredible. I love going here for pet photoshoots because it's just absolutely beautiful. So much flora and fauna to enjoy.
Nice park, mostly flat. Great children's wooden adventure playground and nice walks. Ample car parking is let down by high parking fees.
Beautiful setting come winter or summer. Could benefit from a defined walking path around the lake as during the winter months it does become very muddy. The house would be fantastic if it was open to the public & not just for private functions. The onsite cafe could do with more staff & a boot cleaner so the mud doesn't get traipsed through.
Good park for walking / cycling. Nice cafe with good prices.
180 acre Parkland sculpted by no less than Capability Brown. A safe haven for young families, this formerly moated Manor House was once home to the Lord's of Dudley. Great open spaces, the Great Lake, multi-use main building which hosts exhibitions and events. Fishing and boat racing take place here. Refreshments available in the South Wing including a dog friendly room. Lots of great walks, children's play area and ample parking.
