We had a really good day here today. The newborn goats were adorable. Kids loved the go karts and wanted to keep going back! The jumping pillow was great, as was the park. The animals are lovely, really well looked after. Food and drink reasonable prices for a farm park, loved the goat walk through. Nice clean, tidy, friendly farm with friendly staff and a good vibe. Spent 3.5hrs here which believe me is difficult with our lot we are usually done within the hour. Will be returning very soon. Five stars from our family of four.
My granddaughters loved their day here. They were able to feed goats and enjoyed the soft play and adventure playground. They also enjoyed waty the birds of prey demonstration.
Lovely little Sunday out, kids loved feeding the goats and sheep and playing in the outdoor and softplay area! I initially thought the admission fee was a bit pricey but any of the talks or feeding times that they had on are all included in the price, which is worth it if you make a day of it. We saw the bird show which was amazing, the lady was knowledgeable and kept us engaged, the kids loved how close they got to the birds flying over their heads!! Food, pricey, but to be expected, if your a big family, recommend bringing a picnic, I had a a banging Jacket Potato which was well worth it.... Recommend a visit
This was our first visit to the farm, and it certainly exceeded our expectations! It is so much more than just a farm. There are lots of different farm animals, as well as wild animals, birds of prey, and creepy crawlies. There is an outdoor play area with sand pit and water play and indoor soft play featuring a thrilling three-tiered climbing frame with tunnel slides and rocking balls for the over 5s, while the under 5s enjoy rolling balls, a ball pit, and engaging obstacle courses. There is a cafe by the entrance next to the shop. There is also another cafe where the soft play is. The food prices are very reasonable. The inclusion of ride-ons and free-to-use pedal go-karts near the entrance is a delightful touch. Additionally, the smaller barn hosts various seasonal activities, ensuring there's always something exciting happening. We really enjoyed bottle feeding lambs and holding chicks. We also had a chance to stroke guinea pigs and touch a millipede! Overall, Hogshaw Farm is a must-visit destination for families seeking fun and adventure!
I took my little girl here on Saturday, it was lovely. She enjoyed all the animals and the big bouncy cushion thing, was a struggle to get her off that . We didn't go into the soft play or restaurant bit so can't comment on that. But the farm itself is in a beautiful location. For a Saturday morning it was really quiet there, which was nice. The staff are also very friendly ans helpful and we loved looking around the little gift shop. I will definitely take her back and maybe try out the soft play next time.
Prepare to spend many hours here if you are taking children, they won't last you escape. Luckily you can find food there is a good cafe and you can eat in peace since there is a play area there. There are petting areas and extremely friendly goats and aloof llamas. Great place.
