Original rickety covered wooden bridge leading to Hogwarts Castle used in Harry Potter film sets.
Great to see the bridge close up - one of my favourite pieces of set design from the Harry Potter movies. Only disappointment is that the bridge was closed when I visited, but we could still get a glimpse inside.
Great photo opportunity with lots of cool things close by.
We didn't expect to see the bridge here due to it being much longer in the movies but i guess they had to shorten it to be able to fit it in the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter. It was fun to see and walk along it i guess..
The bridge was closed off on the day we went, which was unfortunate, as I would've liked to walk through. I don't know if it was because it had rained... it's got a roof after all. I doubt it was due to COVID, as you could walk through the Hogwarts Express carriage, which was enclosed and cramped. Still, I liked seeing this iconic bridge. There was a fake snow generator during the festive season to add to the ambience.
Thank you for the incredible opportunity to be in a magical fairy tale, it made my life better, you are incredible!
Even if your not a Potter fan. A must go place, just to be amazed by the amazing work the construction, special effects and crew have done. A real insight to the film industry. Fabulous day for all.
