Unassuming rooms & suites in a laid-back hotel featuring an outdoor pool, breakfast & parking.
On a hot 100 degree day, I had two rooms booked and arrived almost two hours early seeing if I could check in. The young man at the front desk was able to accommodate one room, requested away from the highway, and said the other room would be ready by regular check in time. In good with that, drop off the luggage, turned on the AC, left my stepson there and my wife and I went to the store, less than a five minute drive. Second room was ready when we returned. Had a nice stay as this was the jump off point to Yosemite. Pool was down for maintenance. Our room was three rooms from the elevator but I never heard it, I will say the breakfast clerk was overwhelmed as coffee was not replenished because he was working of the pancake maker that seems to breakdown. I was still happy with the stay and would recommend it.
This hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. They were very accommodating and helpful whenever we needed something. the hotel was really close to the park and allowed for easy access to the beautiful nature. The town also had plenty to do and see within walking or a very short driving distance. The rooms had really nice views as well. Overall, we were very thankful to have stayed here and want to extend a huge thank you to the amazing staff! Thank you!!
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oakhurst-Yosemite Park was great. The hotel's proximity to Yosemite National Park is a huge plus; it took us only about half an hour to get through the entrance queue in the morning, which wasn't bad at all. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. A nice touch was the use of Dove products for shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and body lotion, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. Breakfast was decent, offering a variety of hot options, and we particularly enjoyed the large cheese danishes. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to explore Yosemite while enjoying a comfortable and pleasant stay.
A nice hotel near to Yosemite National Park. Check in and out is easy with no problem. Customer Service from the staff is pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, well maintained and spacious, there is a large table and enough storage space for clothes. The bathroom is clean and has nice decor lighting. The shower pressure was a little weak but still good enough to use along with the complimentary toiletries. The breakfast is good, but I think they could have more choices, but still the hot food is good. the seating area is good with enough space, best time is early in the morning or roughly 30 - 40 minutes before breakfast closes. They have an outdoor pool, laundry facilities and a gym. Parking is free. If you are visiting Yosemite it's a straight road from the hotel on CA-41 and it takes roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes scenic drive. Definitely worth the drive. Overall this hotel is very good, especially for an overnight stay Recommend!
We were very disappointed in this Holiday Inn Express. We have stayed frequently in Holiday Inns for the last 50 years and this was not up to standards. There was a sign when we checked in that the pool was closed and we could use the pool in the hotel next door. We have had houses with pools for years and this pool was simply not maintained it was black on the bottom. At breakfast the following morning the juice machine was broken. I spoke to the manager and she said since they were in the mountains it was hard to get people in to fix things. She offered to give us a 20% discount, because of the pool and broken juice machine. And she said she would buy juice and bring it in. The next morning there was no juice and no eggs. (If she bought juice it was not enough.) The two kitchen workers were in the back visiting and did not clean off tables. I expect Holiday Inns to have the amenities that they advertise. I would not recommend this place nor would I stay here again.
We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect, since the attention from the hosts Chase and Michelle to the cleanliness of our room. We felt very welcomed and they help us with all of our requirements. Definitely this will be our hotel choice for our future trips!
