Hollicombe Park comprises trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds with plenty of grass to relax and picnic. Pass under the rail bridge and you arrive at Hollicombe Beach. It used to be an old gas works site that has now been transformed into a green landscape.
it's not very big and it's also the main walking and cycling route to Preston sands so not not always peaceful. Also lots of dogs! On a sunny day good for relaxing and picnics although the nearest toilets are three quarters of a mile away on Preston green. Free parking on Torbay road very close to the park. Used to be the old gasworks for Torbay the remains of which make a good area for skateboarding and bike tricks
Beautiful well manatined park. Occasionally a Molly Macs hot dog/ice cream van parked here. Able to join coastal paths and continue your trek along the coast from here. Entrance to the beach is down the hill through the tunnel. Highly recommend! Perfect for families, dog walkers, mediators or anyone for that matter
A nice park by a stretch of quiet beach with a concrete path and brick wall along its length. When we visited the rooks were out in force as were the seagulls. It's a very nice walk from the Paignton cliffs to Marine Parade in Torquay.
Pleasant walk from Preston through to Livermead goes through this park. Shrubs starting to colour in February. Looking forward to seeing it later in the year.
Lovely clean beach perfect for swimming
Lovely park...lacking seating however. Tunnel leads to a beach....but check the tide times
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
