About
Hollow Trees is a 140 acre family-run farm in beautiful high Suffolk. We've been farming here since 1929. Today it's a great place to enjoy a family day out - take the Farm Trail, play in Pogal's Pit, get digging at Semer Beach and meet our friendly animals as you go round. Our Farm Cafe is the place to treat yourself to a hearty home-cooked meal, or enjoy a catch up with friends over coffee and cake. And don't miss our award-winning Farm Shop, where you can take a piece of Hollow Trees home with you.

A medium sized farm shop thats actually good value for money. Inside you have a cafe and toilets. The outside plant area is quite small. There's a farm trail that you can do and see some animals. It costs PS7 per person. The cafe is a nice large size, and has both an outdoor and indoor seating area. Sadly dogs are not allowed in the outside seating area, which is very unusual for a cafe. They're obviously not allowed into the farm shop either, or the trail. Very difficult to then visit when travelling with your pet in the summertime.
Reasonably priced for a lovely day out! Animals to see include goats, cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, rabbits, and guinea pigs! PS1 of special feed went a really long way and it was nice to interact with the animals. Their enclosures were nice and spacious! Plenty of play areas for children, hand washing stations for cleanliness, and picnic areas (for nicer weather - bit rainy for us the day we went but didn't dampen our spirits!) The farm shop was nice too! Overall, a great place to visit!
Hollow Trees Farm Trail is a fantastic place for the family. We've visited a few times with our grandkids, and it's always been a blast. The farm trail offers a range of activities suitable for kids of all ages (and us adults, too!). From pirate boats and rope swings to a soft-play area and even wellie wanging, there's never a dull moment. The pedal tractors and animal feeding areas are big hits with the little ones. We especially love the indoor and outdoor picnic areas--perfect for a relaxing lunch break. Plus, there is a snack hut offering confectionery, and hot & cold drinks. Hand washing stations are conveniently located throughout the farm, promoting cleanliness and hygiene--a definite plus, especially with young ones in tow. One of the highlights for the grandkids is purchasing bags of animal food to interact with the farm's friendly residents. Hollow Trees Farm Trail provides a full day of entertainment and learning. Overall, this is an excellent day out and offers fantastic value for money. I highly recommend it to families looking for a fun and memorable experience in beautiful surroundings.
Highly recommend for a place to visit. My grandson absolutely loved it on the Farm Trail. So much to do and see, he especially loved the toy tractors, sledge and play areas, such beautiful scenery. Loved feeding the animals A big thank you to the gentlemen for opening the tractor ride for him at the end of the day, he throughly enjoyed it and so did I. Staff friendly and helpful. Thanks for a fab' day.
Fun family afternoon out. Get to see all the baby animals and visit the lovely farm shop. Overall , a reasonably priced day out.
Had a good few hours here today on the farm trail, great experience. The children loved the park with slides and climbing frames, loved riding the toy tractors. Enjoyed feeding animals such as goats and sheep. Saying hello to pigs and cattle. Then finishing off with drinks and ice cream. All left very tired.
